Since when did filing a confirmation statement cost £50 a year? It was £13 a couple of years ago! Now I have to pay £50 for all businesses just to tell you nothing has changed?
Another stealth tax. Thanks @UKLabour! Really on the side of small businesses, huh!?
@PeterStefanovi2@SkyNews Increased Employer NI, Capital Gains Tax, Dividend tax, Business Asset Disposal Relief. Employer NI threshold cut. VAT added to private school fees. NI added on salary sacrifice pension contributions. Cash ISA allowance reduced. Pension pots brought into inheritance tax etc.
@AlexBallingerMP Tax on S&S ISA added
Tax on pension contributions added
Tax on dividends increased
Personal Allowance frozen
Tax bands frozen
Need I go on?
@SaulStaniforth@93rdmin So as an IT contractor working via a limited company, the client can pay £x per day to the limited company, and the contractor can pay themselves minimum wage and then ‘overtime’ the rest. Meaning no more corporation or dividend tax? Just a small amount of income tax and NI?
