Our interview with @PhilMartelli is officially live!
We had a great time sitting down with coach talking everything from the Big 5, relationship with Geno Auriemma, and watching his son's coaching career!
Check it out!

So the NBA wants to tell me their league isn’t scripted but then I see a promo video for a Cavaliers vs Knicks Eastern Conference Finals.
Hey @espn, would you care to tell us what you know?
I’m officially taking a break from content, article, everything.
After receiving threats on multiple occasions over the last few days over an opinion I made on Phillies fans I think it’s best I disappear for a bit.
Having people who don’t know me make assumptions and say things to me over a baseball team is ridiculous. Having people mention where I work when I have made ZERO posts about it on this app is scary. I have a great new job that deserves my focus and attention.
So for now I’m done. Taking a hiatus. For people who need me, you all have ways to get ahold of me. For now I don’t need to worry about my life. I don’t need to be surrounded by people who would don’t even care about me.
If I’m the Phillies, Kevin Long needs to go. Get a new voice for the offensive approach. All he does is sit on jis hands.
Look to bring in Davey Martinez! Veteran voice who is known for bringing the best out of his guys.
Someone you know is probably fighting a battle they haven’t told anyone about.
So be kind. Be patient. And remember—just because it’s silent doesn’t mean it’s not real.
It’s okay to not be okay.
@Marc_wit_a_C@KAM_Est87 People don't care. You disagree with them and people hide behind a screen.
People never know what is going on my life but people always find a way to get me where it knows it hurts the most.
They go on with their day and I am scared bc they mention my personal life
If the Phillies were to fire Rob Thomson, would Don Mattingly accept the Interim Manager role?
One of the reasons he was attracted to the Phillies job was because he does not want to be a manager anymore. He specifically said he only wants to be a bench coach.
@Beardaknowledge Come on bro. I wouldn't go posting stuff on your posts like "Participation trophy era in full swing" to something I disagree with.
Ive respected you over the years even when we disagree but wouldn't stoop to that level, and I thought I had your respect even when we disagree.
@FrankCianfrani@Marc_wit_a_C Watching this team this year is so annoying and frustrating. Bc we know what this team is capable of.
I remember Odubel Herrera's first swing in the MLB. It was a full whiff, he fell over and his helmet fell off. A lot of effort to only hit air.
Yeah bc I find it funny that people started watching/following in October of 2022 and now have an opinion on every detail of the team.
I haven't followed the Flyers ever in my life, but I am sure there are a ton of bandwagon fans now that didnt exist two weeks ago and they are probably just as frustrated as I am. Will I watch the playoffs bc they are in it? Yes. Will I pretend I watched them play once this year, hell no. If they lose a game will I be calling for everyone's head or saying how someone is a disappointment, no bc I have zero clue what has happened this year.
I have watched the Phillies religiously through the highs and the lows. And even though this team stinks right now, I will never ever stop believing in this team. I said this in 2022 when everyone said they stunk. This team has the lineup and the pitching to win it all in 2026. They need some extra pieces, some changes from leadership, but this is a team that can contend.
And if you want to call me out and use your platform to make fun of me, go for it!
Come on bro. You are fully missing my point or just fulling ignoring everything I am saying just so you can make me look bad. I thought you respected me a lot more than this. Should have known I have zero respect on here!
Baseball is all about getting hot at the right time. They've gotten cold in October the last few years. It happens its baseball.
Before the Dodgers started buying championships, they had the best record in baseball 5x from 2016-2023. They got cold in October it happens. 2023 Diamondbacks won 83 games, squeezed into the playoffs and got hot at the right time.
Hell, the 2022 Phillies. Last team into the playoffs, got hot at the right time, and ran to a NL Pennant. Bats just got cold after Game 3.
This year is not going well at all so far. However, it is April. But if they add some pieces, players step up, stay healthy, there is no reason why they can't make a run. They still have LA to go through which is no fun.
If you think the 2026 Phillies are anywhere close to the 2013-17 Phillies that’s actually insane.
Are the Phillies playing well right now? No. If they continue playing like this there will be no playoffs. But if guys play to their potential and they fill some voids, this is a clear playoff team. But things need to change.
