If you can bench Casemiro, Varane, CR7, Sancho, Eriksen, etc., when they’re not playing well (I agree with that) then surely you can drop or bench Rashford when he’s selfish, greedy & absolutely shocking.
If you can’t, then something at this club is more rotten than we think. Disgusting.
@SaeedTV_@afcbournemouth He’s a good manager! Someone we should’ve considered for the « so called Ineos rebuild » instead of Carrick. Until we get someone better. At least rose is competent.
🚨 Michael Carrick: “I spoke with the players and I have to say, the boys are hungry”.
“We're hurting because we haven't won enough football games, but there's an intensity, there's a bit of an edge, there's a disappointment, there's a hunger to do better”.
🚨 Michael Carrick and captain Bruno Fernandes have met face-to-face to clear the air after Portuguese star was benched for 90 minutes against Bournemouth.
Bruno, now expected to feature against Chelsea on Saturday.
They haven't got a clue. Without him United would be in the championship. He should've been top 10, best signing since Cantona. Anyway, PFA award worth much more than the Ballon d'Or, at least it's not won in a farmer's league.
@AdamManred There’s been like 22 incidents of conceding 4 or more since Maguire joined, before Maguire joined it was 4 incidents. That’s not a coincidence!
It would be interesting to find the number of batterings we’ve had since Sir Alex retired before Maguire & Bruno, and after Maguire & Bruno. If anyone has that information I’d be curious.
@AliceTalksFooty We played through him way too much for years, and we only have a sample of 10 games without him. It’s not a surprise at all. Surely you can get to more elaborate conclusions than the one you just offered?
I really didn’t think Carrick had it in him to drop Bruno for today. He didn’t really have a choice honestly, but I’m still surprised he found the bollocks to do so.
« It’s very obvious Bruno’s drop in form is down to losing belief in the club »
Why is it always some strange far-fetched reason to explain his game & form. Why is it never the most obvious and plausible one? That he’s not that great & has kinda always played like this?
It’s very obvious Bruno’s drop in form is down to losing belief in the club which is sad.
But he has enough credit in the bank to say what he wants and unfortunately he is speaking the truth here.
INEOS will want fans to turn on Bruno here, but Bruno got told to reject other offers and stay here to see us be the only top club refuse to spend over £65m on a single player this summer!
He realised the ownership lied and were not bothered about doing the work to compete.
