My floor speech on AJR 109, a resolution honoring the Waukesha Christmas Parade victims, and all those (Police, Fire, EMS, private citizens) who responded. #WaukeshaStrong https://t.co/ejQDQUE44d
Today we are voting on a state budget that cuts taxes by over $3 BILLION while continuing to invest in the future of #Wisconsin. It will lower income taxes, lower property taxes & eliminate the personal property tax. https://t.co/zfJvMsbWtH
Handing over the keys to outsiders bankrolled by dark money is a surefire way to sow distrust into the integrity of our elections. This simple but important bill will help restore faith in our election process. https://t.co/mPFT8vJkhg
I agree. We must allow students to return to school in-person. I will be submitting testimony to the Waukesha School Board for their meeting tonight urging them to allow families the option to return to in-person learning full-time.
The evidence is growing that students are suffering setbacks due to virtual-only education, particularly disadvantaged students. Schools should follow the science and make in-person the default. Read more in my column at @townhallcom: https://t.co/oI5h20iG6G #wiedu
Joe Biden wants to cancel student debt? Why should carpenters, plumbers, janitors, truck drivers, etc. and those that didn't go to college SUBSIDIZE doctors, lawyers, economists, bankers, etc. that did. This makes absolutely no sense to me.
@KatieHill4CA "Because I'm not an a-hole" You can't be serious. Why should truck drivers, janitors, construction workers, etc. subsidize doctors, lawyers and bankers? I truly don't understand this logic.
In addition to my previous reasoning, I also believe @GovEvers extension of an Emergency order that expired to be an abuse of his powers. This is not trivial. For a number of good reasons, there are limits to a Governor’s authority. There should be a limit to all government power
Masks reduce the spread of coronavirus. But local govt., biz, & orgs. already have the ability to require masks. That’s a good thing. Decisions are best made locally among our communities, schools, biz, churches, etc. A one-size-fits all policy is not the right approach for WI.
An extension of an Emergency Order that expired is a dangerous abuse of power. There should be limits to a Governor’s authority. There should be a limit to all government power. What I think should be our next step on @TMJ4

New episode of #MeetinginMiddleAmerica is live! So much fun talking with my friends Reps. @RobynVining & @AdamNeylon - a bipartisan duo of Southeast WI lawmakers - about making the best ideas win in politics and key issues of this all-important region. https://t.co/aw79WYCKNe
Merry Christmas from me, @AdamNeylon, and our little candy canes 🎄
Loving these years where a small celebration still seems so big and magical to these two ❤️💚
