@AlanGreenwood_ Glasgows campaign fizzled out because they carried the Scotland 6N squad. Too many top players either injured or knackered when knock-out games came.
@dscottmcrae1@Scotlandteam If there was a settlement agreement it would have resulted in resignation, not dismissal. This was investigation, not negotiation.
@mangorugby I’ve been amazed at the negative reaction to his SQ focus for the pro teams. Short-term pain, of course - but surely our best (only) chance of properly growing the game.
@black13695888@Scotlandteam I guess Scotland (and Glasgow) have so many options at 4, 5 & 6. Can’t think of any area of No8 play where Brown is obviously lacking - could be a great move.
@T2Rugby It’s extremely disingenuous to equate an opinion of one (or even several) Scottish journalists/pundits with ‘Scotland’, but I suspect you knew that.
@TeclabYousef@T2Rugby In that case, the law was correctly changed to close a loophole in the existing laws which was being exploited by several countries, notably France. What’s the issue?
@RubTheDub23@Richie_Allen Leinster have a much larger pool of high quality players than Glasgow, so they rotate more through the season. The top Internationals have game time managed in way Glasgow cannot afford to do.
@PaulfromTPL@ScotRugbyNews I would much prefer that he wasn’t SQ. Glasgow contribute so much to Scotland and for the 2nd year in a row it’s causing mayhem at the end of the season.
@mangorugby@AndyBurke_@TEnglishSport It’s not about number of injuries. Glasgow’s attack is based on ruck speed & putting defenders on their heels. Without a 9 who plays at high tempo, that falls apart. Toulon could rush all day & suffocated Glasgow.
@GlasgowWarriors Glasgow’s game built on quick ruck ball. Afshar is just painfully slow & so it became an arm wrestle which Toulon were always winning.
