The @RedSox have officially transformed from a 9time World Series champion into the ultimate AL East doormat. Franchise valuation has skyrocketed from $700M to $5.25B, yet ownership operates like a mid-market team, cutting the Opening Day payroll down to 12th ($190.6M).
The front office has systematically dismantled the franchise core—trading away @mookiebetts , @ac13alex , and most recently @Rafael_Devers to @SFGiantsFans in a move staff called a "s--t show." After purging manager @ac13alex and mainstay @Varitek_33 , CBO @CraigBreslow analytical blueprint is completely failing. The offense ranks 29th in @MLB and top prospects are stalling out or injured.
With 76-year-old principal owner @John_W_Henry refusing to speak to the media, the silence from the top is deafening. @fenwaypark is fueled by pure fan outrage, and the chants are only getting louder: Sell the team. 📉⚾️

Even after the loss, Mike Vrabel waited outside the locker room for every one of his players, like he always does. ❤️

“If you don’t want to pay 150 million, you don’t want to win, and you don’t want to compete.”
Could not agree more. It’s disgusting.

@BostonStrong_34 I still believe they sign a number 2 and that Oviedo is their #5 starter. Bello and Gray could slot differently depending on spring training and Crawford is another depth piece.
The only way to hold the @RedSox accountable is to stop showing up, stop paying the most for the mediocre product they put on the field. Unfortunately it won’t happen because of Fenway park, people will continue to show up, and the owners will continue to not care.@Jared_Carrabis
Twenty years ago tonight, on October 27, 2004, the Boston Red Sox won the World Series. It was something I never thought I’d see in my lifetime, and it’s almost inconceivable that I saw three more after this. May we never not get chills.
