An interesting and hugely scary thread. The end of this year I’ll be entering the jobs market at a historically difficult time with businesses failing and high unemployment, with £45k(?) debt because I wanted to further my education. The first 1.5 years of uni were “normal”... 1/

Weird feeling. After 10.5 years and roughly £21,000 of debt- I finally paid off the last instalment of my student loan today.

Next month, for the first time- I’ll receive my full post tax salary, for the first time since I graduated.

I’m not receiving as good a service as previous years whilst also paying rent for a house I’m not living in (not necessarily the Uni’s fault but a simultaneous burden). Oh and I most likely won’t be able to buy a house of my own for who knows how long 3/
