@MartinSLewis But if parents "gift" a house to a child more than 7 years before they die then the child would have to pay additional fees due to "owning" a second home? Such as capital gains tax? Or am I wrong?
@BeatlesEarth I struggle to get out much these days. Be handy if he could play our village hall in South Cave, East Yorkshire. The phone number is on the parish council website if you would like to book it Paul.
@kriskat64@danpollard2012@MadWorld1711532@A1an_M@sequi_simon House prices look expensive but can cope with that. I can cope with the woke stuff to an extent. It's the imports that now mean my kids can't safely go I to town. Its obvious what it will be like in 30 years time. That's why I am looking g to move.
@MadWorld1711532@A1an_M@sequi_simon Honest question as I looked at moving to NZ 15 years ago and regret not doing. Now my parents have gone I am considering it again (I can get in as I am on skills shortage list). Can you tell me the couple of things that have got worse in the last 15 years?
@spenley@LaraLewington Real shame it's ending. Watched for years. My 12yr old favorite tv show. Thanks for all the great content and wishing you well for the future.
@_HenryBolton@tvlicensing@GBNEWS@TalkTV So does any of the licence fee go to other live tv channels, such as ITV, GB news, Chanel 4 etc? If you have to pay the BBC to watch ITV what's in it for ITV? Why don't they claim some of the funding. (BBC unwatchable these days).
