NEW: Kentucky has contacted 21-year-old Russian big man Gleb Firsov.

Firsov has great size (6-10), is efficient around the rim, and has good rim protection instincts. Plays for Parma Perm in the VTB United League, the top league in Russia.

Players who opt out of events at the combine generally do so because they think participating will hurt their draft stock.

Not saying this means Moreno plans to stay in the draft, but this looks like he is erring on the side of improving his stock rather than getting feedback.
