Always in awe of the work the volunteers of the @RNLI do, but never more so than when you read the story of the Penlee lifeboat Solomon Browne and its crew. The definition of bravery.

43 years ago, eight brave crew members @penleelifeboat launched in treacherous conditions to aid the Union Star.

Tragically, 16 people lost their lives that night.

This is the crew's story told by their children. It's also a tale of hope and community resilience.
