"Racism is the lowest, most crudely primitive form of collectivism. It is the notion of ascribing moral, social or political significance to a man's genetic lineage—the notion that a man's intellectual and characterological traits are produced and transmitted by his internal body chemistry. Which means, in practice, that a man is to be judged, not by his own character and actions, but by the characters and actions of a collective of ancestors."

By socialist standards, Amazon is “too big” and must be broken up because it’s worth over $2 trillion. But the government, which is $40 trillion in the hole, which means you’re $40 trillion in the hole is somehow perfectly fine. A voluntary company with no power to compel you is a threat, but a bankrupt monopoly with unlimited power to tax, regulate, seize, and print is treated like a guardian.
Only a socialist could look at a successful business and scream “danger,” then look at the largest, most indebted institution on Earth and scream “more of that.”
Hard work means nothing if you’re digging holes that no one wants dug.
The market determines economic value - not you, not your labour, not your needs and sense of entitlement, not your union or guild, not your party, not even your government.
Rolled my left ankle yesterday at work after tripping over an empty pallet. Had a slight limp for the rest of the day. Woke up this morning feeling a little better but still had some ankle pain. I did 4 rounds of 52°F cold plunge alternating with hot tub. My ankle is back to normal again. Cold plunge is physically stressful and uncomfortable but it has its benefits.
Business is the most powerful force for human cooperation ever created.
When done consciously, it solves problems, creates prosperity, and builds communities.
All at once.
The people who complain about free market capitalism have never seen what happens without it.
They keep confusing it with cronyism, which is a completely different problem.
What’s left of capitalism today is under attack—from politicians, intellectuals, the media. If we want to uphold liberty in the marketplace, we need to defend it on moral grounds. Discover Ayn Rand’s moral case for capitalism: https://t.co/ncdXXJZwKC
"The human characteristic required by statism is docility, which is the product of hopelessness and intellectual stagnation. Thinking men cannot be ruled; ambitious men do not stagnate."
-Ayn Rand
You are not born in sin. Original sin is bullshit.
You do not need a savior. Your ability to achieve your goals through reason and productivity is enough.
You are a heroic being capable of great things. Your happiness and flourishing is your highest purpose.
Life is a gift, but survival isn’t.
Existence gives you a heartbeat.
It doesn’t give you food, shelter, medicine, espresso machines, or the iPhone you’re tweeting from.
You don’t “buy your life back” from an employer.
You trade value for value because reality doesn’t hand out freebies and no one else is born owing you their time, effort, or productivity.
The only worldview where life itself becomes something you have to “buy back” is the collectivist one where other people’s labor is treated as your birthright and their refusal to serve you is framed as oppression.
If you want life to feel like a gift, don’t demand it from someone else’s pocket.
Earn the ability to sustain it yourself. That’s the only way it ever becomes yours.
