Olds College Aggie alum, a wonderful boy following my footsteps, farm and ranch with my dad and brother, all supported by my great wife and hard working mother
@Jasonray1172222@teetwodmt_duane The redekop chaff wagon pulled behind the combines, they discontinued production some years ago but we keep them well maintained and built so they keep making feed for us.
Peter Lammer is a chef in a restaurant in Germany. He suffered a motorcycle accident and, after rehabilitation, doctors advised him to retire. Together with his friends, he created this effective mobile seat.
We’ve had a great spring. Privileged to show my boy what I do for a living. Ready for the clouds to drop some moister on us and get ready for silaging. #saskag
Calving 25 started a couple wks early. Always a few challenges at the front end. @AdamThompsonT2, @HollyThompson8 and our crew have loaded a lot of animals with this rig. Not fancy but vert functional. #teetwo#calve25
Tee Two Land & Cattle is pleased to let you know we will be offering replacement open heifers in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more information to come. Have a great day!
Walking pens this afternoon, pretty exciting to see what the future of our replacement heifers looks like. Hardest part will be the sort in the coming months. #saskag#heifers
@tglangland@teetwodmt_duane We are giving a TMR aswell. 3 to 4 times a week they get a ration to supplement their needs. When we see tough weather coming we give them daily what they need to stay warm and keep condition. Other than that it’s all props to them for their hard work.
Working for a living is nothing new around here for these girls. Some of our strongest cows in a group still punching through the knee deep snow making a living. Condition continues to surprise through all the elements. Onto chaff piles in a week or so. #wintergrazing#saskag
Cows sorted and calves pulled on the first group. First round preg check starts tomorrow. Wouldn’t do it without the paws of the operation 🐾 #weaning#saskag#saskbeef#cndnbeef
The weaning process begins. 10 day trip home getting a good taste of what they will be eating when mom heads back out. Always love looking at the calves at this time fat and sassy with a good winter coat. #ranchlife#lifeisgood
Second pass grazing well on its way. The group is adjusting to the season long stand but hard to be greedy when your plate is full. Nice morning for a cow move. Appreciate the good moisture. #saskag#saskcattle
One of many attributes of moving a water system with the herd is calves are onto drinking from a trough long before weaning into the feedlot. Dads had many different water system setups but this one takes the cake. Many small improvements have made it a very slick setup to use.
@Case_IH will have to start making their Steiger cabs a little bit bigger. Soon there will be more than just cow dogs in here with me. Little feet and a car seat will need to fit in here as well. Haylage round 1 all wrapped up. 🌾
