@DaveJAndrews This! I have no problem spending money on tickets to a national series because I know on race day the track will not nickel and dime me like other sports. Parking is free and once in the race track you can either bring food with you and/or concessions are reasonably priced.
@MI_Sprints For example, if a race tracks starts at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 11:00 p.m., and you want 3 hours of action, arrive at 8:00 p.m., but when features run at 1:00 a.m. like at some places, you automatically lose people, and a new fan might leave before experiencing the best of it.
@MI_Sprints I do not care about how long it takes to run the show, but features need to be over early. I get sun and heat are not good on dirt, but features are the best part of the night. A fan can adjust what time they arrive, but by running the features late in the night, people leave.
@TheShoe_18 @dandakich@Colts 0-3 since the move, yet we all talk about how great of a story it was. It was not all Philip's fault, but 0-3 is 0-3. How is that a good story? Literally could have started anyone and at worse it would have been the same, 0-3.
This!!! Ryan Grigson got fired after 3 playoff appearances in 4 years. Chris Ballard is still here after 2 playoff appearances in 9 years and 5 streight seasons of missing the playoffs.
A lil #Colts history!!
Andrew Luck missed 9 games when Ryan Grigson was the @Colts GM
The Colts went 6-3 in those games
Why?
Because Ryan Grigson had a plan
That plan included Matt Hasselback
Amazing to expect a GM making millions to actually have a plan for an oft injured QB
@Johnny_Junya83@awfulannouncing What about secondary markets? So I will use the Pacers as an example. If they sign a deal with say WTHR (NBC affiliate) that would cover Indianapolis, but Fort Wayne, Terre Haute, South Bend, Evansville are their own separate markets. All currently have access to Pacers on RSN.
All I got to say is that @dirtvision is doing a better job covering the @HusetsSpeedway High Bank Nationals than @ABCNetwork has done covering the @NBA Finalsโฆโฆ
@JustynCox__JC These same tracks need those customers every week which is unsustainable. I have a lot of options and I make notes of who is over at a reasonable time and prioritize these tracks.
@JustynCox__JC Honestly if I am home by 1:00 a.m. I am fine with that. There are several tracks however that push midnight or later on a weekly basis. If someone is driving 1:30 away that means pushing 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. getting home.
@JustynCox__JC When a race gets over late it is not like their customers are home really quickly. I went to Eldora last night. They did a great job running a fast pace show and were over at 10:45 p.m. I was in my driveway at 12:45 a.m. however by the time I got to my car and through traffic.
@FuelPXP Great game, we just made a few too many mistakes. Bright future ahead. Still very good for an expansion team! I look forward to being back at the @FishersEventCtr on 5/3!
