⚽️📝 McCullough Makes His Move 📝⚽️

We are delighted to announce the signing of Johnny McCullough for the upcoming season.

Johnny is an exciting young talent who has featured for Portadown, Glenavon, Queen’s University & Seagoe in his career.

Johnny comes from a well known footballing family who have strong ties with Hanover, that being his father Gary & cousin Scott both playing for Hanover previously, along with other relations Neil & Glenn, being a former Manager & Player/Coach respectively.

Johnny will be another fresh talent to add to an exciting crop of young players starting to emerge at the club, and will provide management with another great footballer to work with. We wish Johnny all the best with his move and look forward to watching him at Brownstown ⚽️💙

Hanover v Portadown True Blues

This years Terry Woods Memorial Match against Portadown True Blues will take place on Saturday 21st of June with a 11:00am kick off at Brownstown Park.
Followed by a BBQ back at the Hanover Club.

This year’s chosen charity is one very close to our hearts. As Hanover supporter Phillip Robinson takes on the challenge of walking 200 miles in the month of July. And all in memory of our former player Craig Archers father Jim Archer who sadly passed away last July. All proceeds from this epic challenge, charity match and BBQ will be going towards the chest, heart and stroke foundation.

Hanover Football Club is delighted to announce that we will be celebrating 60 Years of our club with a Gala Dinner taking place on Saturday 31st May 2025 in the Seagoe Hotel, Portadown 🎉

We invite you to reminisce and experience 60 years of history for our club, which will include memorabilia, guest speakers, awards ceremony and revel an exciting project we have been working on 📹

On the night, our Special Guests will include:

- Joel Taggart, Sports Broadcaster, who will also be Compere on the evening 🎤

- David Jeffrey, Irish League Legend who will be a fans favourite with plenty of stories to tell 😅

- Aaron Hughes, Former NI International Captain & Premier League Defender who will speak about his successful career, including his Euro 2016 experience ⚽️

Tickets are priced at £50 per person. This will include entrance to the event, a four course meal, followed by our guest speakers, presentations and an evening of entertainment provided by our band on the night, This Way Up 🎶💃

On Friday past we welcomed Dr’s from the Southern Trust (SHSCT) to our club as part of a screening study into Diabetes in young children on behalf of the ELSA study.
This was organised as part of the Health and Wellbeing of our young players, our parents, coaches and local community.
