Very sad to hear of the passing of Moyà Brennan. I had the privilege of opening for Clannad on their USA and UK tour in 1993. Moyà was so kind and encouraging to me at the time and we easily became good friends. We have lost one of the greatest voices and a wonderful human soul x

@martyn_joseph Beautifully put, Martyn. Hers was one of the first voices I fell in love with, and her music—both with Clannad and solo—has been a lifelong companion to me. It is still now—and surely always will be—one of my go-to choices whenever I need calm or comfort. Such a loss 🪉
