Heat is here #KC! The A/C is now on in some buildings in the New Terminal at @KCIAirport. More areas will be brought online as the enclosure is finished & cooling units started. The system provides 3,200 tons of cooling. Average house residential A/C is 2.5 tons! #BuildKCI#KCWX

With City Council voting yes on the airport agreements, the aviation dept says groundbreaking can happen some time in March (that starts tomorrow, yikes!), and new terminal expected to open in early 2023. #NewKCI
Current count on airlines that have signed term sheet: 7. Alaska, American, Delta, FedEx, Southwest, United and UPS. Aviation dept. says this represents 95.5% of landed weight at @KCIAirport. Only 60 percent was needed for term sheet #newKCI
