Founders, where does your week actually go?
A) Mostly building
B) Half building, half marketing
C) Mostly marketing
D) Distribution? What's that
Be honest. I'll go first in the replies.
"Is there something like X but cheaper?"
Someone posts this on Reddit every day.
They're not browsing. They're ready to buy.
Most founders never see the post.
That's the gap I'm building MentionCatch for.
Founders, which one hurts the most?
A) Zero signups
B) Signups who never come back
C) Trials that never convert
D) Customers who cancel after month 1
Curious which one keeps you up at night.
V1 taught me one thing I can't unlearn:
People will pay for this.
Not a lot of people. Not yet.
But real people, for something I built alone at 17.
That's why V2 feels scarier.
Before, I was asking: "Will anyone care?"
Now I'm asking: "Can I make it bigger without breaking what already works?"
Different fear.
A better one.
Your first customers won't find you.
You'll have to find them.
I used to think a good product was enough.
Now I know better: the people who need it are already asking out loud.
Your job isn't to be discovered.
It's to show up where they're already talking.
Solo founders, say hi.
Drop one line: what you're building and who it's for.
I'll check out as many as I can.
Let's make this thread a small directory of builders.
