Two Guys Talk Tech is back - this week Caradog and Graham take a look at the super lightweight "Ghost Spectre" Windows images to see if they're worth using, or just a gimmick🤔

Shorted cap discovered😌
Incidentally, I record videos as a single 4k tile view of each camera angle, then in post I crop down to 4x 1080p files to edit with. This way I don't have to deal with scene-switching while I'm recording in OBS.
@dladd72 Yea no major complaints, the wireless isn't incredible, you'll know the batt is low because it'll be missing keystrokes long before the low batt light comes on. But it's still fantastic value.
Bought a Royal Kludge RK100 for the work bench. I thought this layout would be the dream, but I'm not sure I'm sold on it. I'm so used to locating cursor keys, enter, and shift by look for the edges around them 🤔
A little 0201 SMD work on the back of a MacBook Air's PCH. Definitely got better tweezers and hot-air technique than when I first tried this scale. Sad I wasn't recording for this one!
This is such a pain for customer-facing people like me too. We're trying to encourage people to have a go themselves, google the thing, learn to do it yourself... and then they stumble face first into this kind of nonsense "it was on google... they're legit, right?"
1/ THIS IS BAD!!!
Search for "OBS" in Google and you get, not 1, but 5 (❗️) malicious ads in the first links/results 😱
All part of a new #Rhadamanthys stealer campaign with new tricks and mainly targeting streamers.
Two Guys Talk Tech starts in 30mins, today we're going to take a look at some of the Enermax LiqTech AIOs infamous for failure to see if we can possibly refurbish them - see you there! https://t.co/PzMjfTCqxb
I will bore anyone with the intricacies of what I think makes a good RGB effect. Also that Crosshair 8 looks good in there. Good result from Saturday's podcast!
Two Guys Talk Tech returns this afternoon, we're putting a repaired Crosshair 8 into my Torrent, and taste-testing a very dangerous looking drink😖

@xraiderv17 I use auslogics disk defrag portable, but make sure you get an old version from like, 2018, because the new versions are all full of junk.
For transferring to an SSD though, I find the best prep now is to delete the pagefile, hiberfile, and system restore points.
PS. Going to try and get back on Twitter again, I've cleared the inbox because there's no way in heck I'll catch up on that, so if you've been trying to get hold of me, do try again. Please note, I can't do tech support over twitter😅
