@Evan64323990 I’d suspect they’ll bring at least one in - even if it’s a cover GK. incredibly tough market to buy well IMO. Reality is that oba money won’t be seen for years anyway given how most transfer deals are constructed (Chelsea spreading theirs over 8 years!) - loans probably best now.
A conscious stream of thoughts on 30th January.
January is a mad transfer window. Cancelo to Bayern, Chelsea spending next year’s money today. Nottingham Forest with enough players to start a seconds team 🤯 the successful clubs are the ones that keep their cools IMO.
Oba going will probably be a blessing - his departure and lack of fanfare a clear sign of how his teammates and the club viewed him. Maybe Pato going too will allow those more hungry to be given a chance? #swans
With 5 days left in the Transfer Window this podcast by the @swanstrust gives an interesting and fascinating overview of the processes etc involved in bringing players into the club.
Well worth a listen. Well done @AdamjamesLewis7 and @SwansOfficial
Obafemi’s best game in a swans shirt today. Fitness levels much improved and enjoyed how direct he was when he had the ball. Hopefully a sign of things to come #swans
Not our best performance by any stretch and we seem to have a horrible habit of giving teams a head start, but second half shows how direct football can win games. #swans
God look how easy it is to use TMO in rugby. A few replays, full audio of the discussions, and we move on. Brilliant. Football has so much to learn and should look no further than rugby to learn it. #var#FRAIRE
