I’m a creative director and i wear arc’teryx beanie and realtree and little sunglasses and my job is making ad campaigns for complex weapon systems that kill children over seas
Two boys came into the shop on what seemed like a date today. They said not a date because they’re only a week into a “talking phase.”
Told them I was in a talking phase too once, and that was 13 years ago. Immediately one says “I was 5.” Incredible.
I hope they make it. 🥹
You really shouldn’t say that something's gay when you mean it's bad, it's insulting. What if every time something was bad, everybody said, “That’s so Governor who personally dismantles homeless encampments rather than addressing the housing crisis in their state”
Today this issue cost me $15 despite catching the “high risk” order and processing a refund BEFORE the chargeback was filed. Boring stuff to tweet about but doesn’t this just seem like something @Shopify should handle? I’m just one guy. How many other sellers are being impacted?
so @shopify has an ongoing issue with scammers making fraudulent small purchases - testing stolen credit cards. making tons of customer accounts (clogging up my customer data) and occasionally orders do go through. help desk didn't do shit. fix it!
finding lots of documentation of this online from other sellers, all complaining that shopify isn't doing enough to stop it. automation rules aren't catching it all, it's fucking up email health too. this is literally YOUR job, shopify.
