I'm Adam, a programmer and game developer from sunny Seattle, WA ☀️
🐀 I co-founded @tavernratstudio with my friends and we're working on our first big release, Mischief!
🎮 If you love indie games let's be friends!
Mischief is a local co-op action-adventure game where you play as courageous rats from a family of rodents who:
⚔️Defeat evils bosses
🔎Explore and discover secrets in the neighborhood
🛝Play minigames and compete with your friends!
🎮FREE demo on steam

@NateSilver538 I don’t know how to explain the irony that you are talking about problems about another platform on a platform where you have to censor the word of the other platform because you know then one you’re on is going to quietly censor you if you say the full name.
@kolbepayne Idk. That’s a ton of money but it’s also a ton of work to stream the number of hours that he and others stream and keep an audience entertained for that long of a time span. I’d rather chill in my desk chair with my music and talk to no one and make 10% of that
Donald Trump announces his 10-point plan to rebuild America's school system:
Among his promises is teach patriotism, bring back 'school prayer, and fire teachers who disagree.
This is how our freedom ends.
@KrisMinsk@X@elonmusk@rebane2001 I’m trying! I do try to post both to Bluesky and twitter and I’m glad to see lots of folks move off of twitter. I also try never to post images or videos here any more
Can we not do this #Recount2024 ? I hate the orange man but it does seem overwhelmingly like he won fair and square and that’s so lame for us to suddenly become election deniers because we’re upset about the result
Winners get dropout to sponsor and publish a full release of the game. The game comes out the day the episode airs so the marketing beat is unbelievable, dropout wins, small indie team wins, good game created by cool people exists in the world for fans to play
Okay @dropout series idea: Gastronauts but it’s 3 small indie game teams and they participate in a game jam where the theme chosen by a panel of dropout cast members. “Dropout Jam”
My intuition is that the split in these generations can be clearly found by asking “Have you been able to buy a home and not be in crippling debt?” And millennials appear to be the first gen to widely answer “no” to that (and will continue to gen Z and alpha probs)
I know millennials get a bad rap for being corny and too into BuzzFeed quizzes and identifying way too hard with Hogwarts Houses but we’ve been dealt a horrible hand and turned out to be the best generation
I’ll be damned if I spend YEARS of my life on a project and not get to feel like I’m sharing a piece of me or my experience or be able to share my perspective with the world through it. Sometimes that perspective is fuck fascism.
I think non-game devs don’t realize the amount of personal attachment and closeness you have to a game you’ve made. It’s not always maximizing sales. Sometimes it’s “I made a thoughtful game about stress/family/sadness” and 50 people play it and feel seen and that’s success.
