@nash_the_second On paper yeah, but also the entire coaching staff is almost entirely different than the start of last year, not to mention Garland will be on here from the beginning too. I think DW is banking on the younger guys taking a step, which is what needs to happen.

@DrunkenNinja5 @osubluejacket I cant remember if they played together much last year, but in the 24-25 season they were amazing together. I also think KJ and Fantilli have great chemistry and Nichushkin can be a great complementary wing for them both.

@deans5hole I agree, but who do you trade for? IMO, I think it would be best to start the season with KJ and Voronkov in the top 6 and see if they can get back to form. If not, then see if you can find anyone because I'm not very confident there are many top 6 left wings for sale rn.

Would it be worth it to go after Elias Petterson (20% Retained) for the 14th Overall and LDBB? Petterson is probably a 60ish, maybe 70 pt guy at this point in his career. Would it cost more than this?

@CBJ_Opinions Would McTavish really be that expensive? Scratched often at the end of the season and a long 7mil aav contract. Sounds like ANH is searching for a rhd so would Fabbro + Voronkov + a pick get it done? And I agree with Wright, atp, a 2nd or late 1st probably gets it done imo.

@RichSaluki @NHLBluejacketss @RealDanyHeatley Unfortunately, wouldn't be surprised if we don't see a "true" top 6 forward added to the team this season, not for a lack of trying, just because not many of them want to play in Columbus sadly. IMO, if we can't get any, I would buy low on younger guys like Wright, or McTavish.

@ZakMacBuzz I don't think Larkin will cost all 3 of Sillinger, KJ, and Voronkov. His NMC really dampers his value. IMO, I think his value might be something near a young NHL forward (Voronkov?), a NHL ready prospect (LDBB?), and picks (2 firsts?).
