It’s an easy problem to solve. The governor should demand an in person meeting with McConnell. If that can’t happen then he should turn to his legislature and demand emergency action to force a meeting BEFORE August 3rd. At the very least, they should gather the legislature and move the date from August 3rd to September 3rd.

Selfishly, it’s nice to see big city residents dealing with the same madness those of us in smaller municipalities are dealing with. I’ve been in my town since 2019 and my property taxes have gone up, at least, four times. The last two being 8 and 10 percent.

Taking money from people only to turn around and give it back to them is foolish.
