In Dec 2025, N7.2bn was paid to CCECC NIGERIA LIMITED for the Construction of Kano Northern Bypass Road in Kano state.

This project has been ongoing for over 5 years. We tracked the Ungogo LGA axis and its intersection of BUK road/Gwarzo road and observed that clearing has been done and drainage construction is ongoing.

We implore the @FMWNIG, to hasten the construction process.

N235.4m WAS PAID TO CONSTRUCT CLASSROOMS IN A SCHOOL THAT DOES NOT EXIST.

According to the Kano state Q4 2025 BIR, N235.4m was paid for the Construction of 2No. 4 Classrooms Story Block with office and Store at GGSSS, Permanent Site, Massu in Sumaila LGA, Kano state.

We visited Massu community in June 2026 and not only did we not find this project, residents say there’s no school called GGSSS in Massu community. We also visited other villages in Massu ward but there’s no school called GGSSS in the entire Massu.

Our questions are:
🔎 Why was this sum disbursed for a school that does not exist?
🔎 If this project was intended to be a new school, why has work not started despite disbursement?

We implore the Kano State SUBEB to provide the public with details of how funds disbursed to this project was spent.

JUST IN: BAT has increased the hazard allowance for university workers to ₦486,000 from ₦360,000. That is an increase is ₦126,000 more per year.

This means workers in Universities who face risks while doing their jobs will now receive more money as support for those dangers.

Now that crude price has fallen close to pre-war period. Why is Dangote reducing only N75. The reduction should be proportional.

By now petrol should be less than 1k
