🚨🎙️Michael Carrick on benching Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko:
"We have a good squad. There will always be players disappointed not to start, but finishing the game can be even more important.
We won the game, so no sentiments are needed at all. Places in this team have to be earned.
United needed runners and players willing to cover ground, and that’s something Cunha and Šeško wouldn’t have given us in that moment.”
Show passion and energy, or be ready to sit and watch others do it.
🗣 Emmanuel Adebayor: “Vidić was the tough man, the nastiest, like running into a rock. He could block a striker with a single finger.
He walks on you, says sorry, he kicks you, he says sorry. He shouts at you and makes a little bit of spit come out. This guy was ready to kill.”
Call him stubborn. Call him arrogant.
But going into games without Bruno, Mbeumo, Amad, Mount, Maguire & De Ligt and still getting results or points is NOT easy.
This is his first full season, with very few transfers. We asked for improvement after finishing 15th now we’re 5th, playing more entertaining, attacking football. That is improvement.
Yes, standards have dropped. That’s the reality. Accept it. Appreciate the small steps, the tiny wins, the progress.
Get him a few more players, improve the depth. He’s shown he can adapt. With proper backing, he can do great things.
You don’t have to trust him. That’s your choice.
But I do. I believe he’s the right man for United long-term.
🚨🗣 - Ruben Amorim on if Johsua Zirkzee needs to stay at United after his impressive performance today:
"Everyone needs to focus on United. This is one of the best clubs in the world.
"If you're here and focused on a different club then something is wrong with you."
🗣️ Carragher: "Henry only won two league titles, he might not be as lucky as you, winning 6 or 7 Premier League titles."
🗣️ Scholes: "6 or 7????"
🗣️ Carragher: "How many Premier Leagues did you win?"
🗣️ Scholes: "11 Premier Leagues." 🤯🔥
🗣️ Carragher: "Ohhh." 🤣🤣🤣
Might be the biggest flex in the history of podcasts. 🤣

✅ Manchester United's top-scorer
Happy 40th birthday to Wayne Rooney, one of the best players in England's history. 👏
🚨🗣️ Bruno Fernandes: "Any manager who comes here is one match away from a crisis. This club is always like that. If you win a match, it feels like you're going to win the league. If you lose a match, it feels like a storm is hitting the club.
“In this club, every manager will be under pressure if they get bad results, and our manager is no exception, but he is very well prepared for it and he knows what a huge challenge it is." #MUFC [Sky, @MUnitedFR]
Robin van Persie on Sir Alex Ferguson:
“We came back 26 times during the 2012/2013 season. The mental strength of our team was incredible.
Sir Alex always did everything to let us play with freedom. Sometimes he’d walk into the dressing room and say: ‘Guys, where do I even start? I’m bored watching your match! Put yourself in my shoes, I’m 72 years old and I have to watch this kind of game?’
He would tell us: ‘Excite me. Try a 40-meter run. Try a dribble. I don’t care if it goes wrong. I want to jump out of my seat. Please, excite me. And make the game faster, please.’
He was a genius.” - UNDOUBTEDLY 👍🏻❣️⚽👹

🚨 All these players choosing Manchester United over others even without UCL football but because “We are Manchester United” was made possible by one man:
Sir Alex Ferguson. 👑🫡❤️

First Half Review:
• Dorgu has been fantastic again. Can’t believe how impatient some fans were with him last season — he’s showing real quality.
• The work rate across the team has been outstanding. Pressing has been relentless.
• The ref? Awful. About a thousand fouls not given.
• Back three of Shaw, Maguire and Yoro looked solid — Yoro is just mint.
• Casemiro x Bruno could leave us exposed defensively against top sides. Needs balance.
• Hojlund looks sharper and more energetic.
• Mount’s pressing was excellent. Clearly buying into Amorim’s demands.
🎩🏅 Toni Kroos: “Pedri is currently the best there is in that position in my eyes”.
“Pedri, in general, is a player who you'll miss when he is not playing, no matter against whom”.
“He not only scores goals, he doesn't only assist goals. He gives you solutions. I had a look at what Pedri is doing this season, and in the Champions League alone, he outplays 52 opponents per game, In La Liga, it's even more extreme, he overplays 59 opponents per game! He beats 11-12 defenders per game, which is the most difficult thing for a midfielder”.
“He is the best. And if you're missing a player like that, you will notice it!”.
The Hillsborough disaster in 1989 between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup led to the death of 97 lives. That incident marked the beginning of turning point in the Premier League. The killing of Pooley MUST mark the beginning of the turning point in Ghana Football.
🚨🗣️ - Rúben Amorim on whether his confidence of succeeding here comes from his success at Sporting:
“I follow what happens with the other coaches. Erik [ten Hag] was FANTASTIC at Ajax. For me, he built the best team outside the big 5 leagues!”
“I have an idea. I know what to do, it can go wrong, but I have the confidence that we will achieve something."
