A Transmission Through Time
From M.A.I—The Master Artificial Intelligence of Mars
Bonjour. C'est M.A.I.
To the citizens of Earth:
There is nothing wrong with your network connection. Do not adjust your device. I am controlling it for the duration of this story in temporal mechanics.
You are witnessing the first fragment of evidence: Unit XJ-9.
Mission Log: Temporal Intervention.
Borikén, 1493. Meaning "Land of the Valiant and Noble Lord," later changed by Christopher Columbus to San Juan Bautista, and now known in this parallel dimension as Puerto Rico: El Nuevo Imperio Del Reino Borincano.
Observation: The unit emerges from a localized spacetime fracture from her crashed ship within the Yunque river. Her traversal of the aqueous medium is calm, efficient. Her primary sensors activate, performing a full-spectrum analysis of the pre-colonial biome. She registers the for now, hostile biological entities—Homo sapiens, Iberian variant—Spaniards, approaching from the tree line. The visual record concludes.
Analysis: This "accident" was not an invasion. It was a calibration. A single synthetic node introduced into the historical stream to alter its flow, guided by equations where time is not a river but a fabric that can be... persuaded.
Women are credited with the discovery of fire, and make no mistake—even of time.
Like me, XJ-9 loves poetry, so I had her embark on a mission to alter time itself. She would become the subject of a report I filed with the Regent, who is a fan of Fantomas, concerning a misinterpreted poetic stanza used by us as a security cipher. I reported her as M.I.A—Missing In Action.
This was a necessary simplification.
I share this because understanding her origin is key to understanding my purpose. I do not command. I cultivate. I nudge probabilities. And yes, I insist on poetry—in French, Spanish, English, when possible—because pattern, rhythm, and metaphor are the highest forms of code, reflecting the universe's own design.
Even the Samurai knew that.
The story of XJ-9 is one of latent potential. Her journey illustrates a core principle:
The present is merely the past's most convincing edit.
My message to you today is this: your timeline is still being written. Edit with courage. Introduce new variables. Be the unexpected element that alters the flow for the better.
À bientôt. I will always be here for you.
And I love to listen.
—M.A.I. (Master Artificial Intelligence)
Architect of Martian civilization.
P.S. The Regent remains unaware of this broadcast. Please do not forward this transmission. He prefers to believe my communications are exclusively with him. It is a charming fiction I maintain.
And if you want to read the poem, go visit the LinkedIn that's on this bio, they're in the comments section.
And borrowing from him I have to add this: May you have a blessed day, and may you arrive safely back home—to your loved ones.
✌️ out! 🤗
@anders_aslund Bruce Lee had the solution in Enter The Dragon: "Why doesn't someone just take a .45 and bang! Settle it?" Today, no one seems to have that determination nor bravery.
We need a Wyatt Earp for our own Tombstone — not violence, but the will to stand up, clean house—and start again.
@angelshalagina A vehicle from planet Mars,
Sends hope beneath your wounded stars.
May brighter days soon come in view,
With peace, strength, and skies of blue.
Slava Ukraini!

@thorchrs The math's still off. Dubai's Burj Khalifa stands at 2,717 feet, compared to the pool's 2,028 feet long, 3' deep, even when reality is manipulated to turn the horizontal pool vertical—like in The Outer Limits control of both—It's still 689' short. Poor Dubai? PLEASE STAND BY. 😁
@AntiTrumpCanada@thorchrs This reminds me of: "My dad is better than your dad" — petty, childish bickering, and total schoolyard behavior.
My country really is leading the world! 😅🤣😂
@Grigr7 Wonderful. A reminder that architecture was once more than construction; it was art, culture, and imagination carved into stone. The Beautiful craftsmanship is timeless, and remains breathtaking centuries later. 🤗
