Not sure why this is getting stick to be honest. Blades have had a terrible season, god forbid they make the most of it after a derby day win.
If you beat your rivals you celebrate big, regardless of the position they’re in 🤷♂️
Might genuinely be one of the best days I've ever had in my life,⚔️ that Gus shoulder drop was filthy really hope him and Blaster are fit for the game. ⚔️😍

The standard of refereeing right now is the worst I have ever seen and we're only 6 games into the season, constant ridiculous decisions EVERY SINGLE GAME
Dewsbury-Hall now misses our next game because of this completely normal challenge and taking a free kick too quickly

Matt Fitzpatrick arrives to Palm Beach Gardens in Florida ahead of a TGL golf game, wearing a Sheffield United Shirt whilst (i assume) watching Sheffield United vs Leeds on his phone, on which he has a Sheffield United phone case.⚔️

I think this symbolises a point football has reached, where it has to decide what it stands for.
From an entertainment value perspective, this might be fun: fewer dead rubbers, possibly 1st legs abolished with an eliminator system that means every game has an immediate, direct consequence.
From a sporting merit perspective, this would be a disaster: you shouldn’t be allowed to finish 8th over a 46-game season, and play in the Premier League next year.
I would argue the damage to sporting merit would outweigh the entertainment value.
Let the competition provide the entertainment, as opposed to making the entertainment dictate the competition.
