@HologramOculus How ru-. Oh no. Junshin turned to the woman, hoping for any kind of quick instruction.
"Uh...d-do I just serve food? What do you n-need me to do?"
@HologramOculus "Heh...yeah, she is. She means well, though. Usually..."
Junshin finally glanced up at Kirika, to see she hadn't been looking at him at all.
"Ah, that...makes sense..."
She wasn't afraid of talking to people? So much for finding someone that felt the same as him.
"Ah, don't—
@HologramOculus As Junshin arrived behind the counter, he turned towards the space where he left Kirika, hoping for some positive reinforcement. He blinked as he watched part of her dust trail settle, then followed it with his eyes to see the back of the girl as she ran away.
"Couldn't even—
@HologramOculus "Right...!"
Junshin gave Kirika a glance and a very...awkward smile.
"I'll see you later, then. Thanks for the help?"
That last phrase sounded more like he was asking himself than her, but either way, he gave a quick bow before heading for the door he was pointed towards.
@HologramOculus Junshin stood awkwardly as the woman looked him up and down, then glanced away as she asked her question.
"I-I've never done it before, but I'm willing to...um...give it a shot?"
@HologramOculus Indeed, they would. As Kirika raised her voice, Junshin would raise an eyebrow ever so slightly. He couldn't think of a time that he'd heard her be so loud, not that he had a lot to reference.
"Oh! Um..."
He immediately faltered as the eyes of the two women were now on him. He—
@HologramOculus Junshin was also mentally preparing himself. However, he was just about as prepared as he could be. He'd followed behind Kirika the entire way up to the counter, and even now, he almost seemed to be trying to hide behind her as futile as that was.
"S-She seems busy...?"
He—
@HologramOculus "Sure."
Junshin nodded slightly, meeting Kirika's assumption as he fell into step a little behind her, though there was no hint of enthusiasm in his entire being as they walked.
@HologramOculus "I..."
Junshin blinked, staring off into space as if deep in thought.
"I can sure try it...?"
Unfortunately, the extroverts were off doing extroverted things. Such is the way of the world.
@AudaciousEmilia —look vastly different..."
He raised an eyebrow as he watched her fidget on the ceiling.
"You can't just go back down the same way you got up? Or...jump, if you need to? My quirk is good to go, so I should be able to catch you..."
@AudaciousEmilia Junshin blinked at the fumbled reply, starting to worry as he began to understand Emilia's intended phrase. His quirk didn't activate, so he could at least be sure that this wasn't some life-threatening infection.
"Well, they do have versions that they put in floors, they just—
@HologramOculus —Kirika's face as he caught another small burst of confidence.
"I don't think small talk is really for me either? It...seems really boring...?"
@HologramOculus Unfortunately for both of them, he picked her because she's the least scary of the higher ranked members of Echo.
"N-No, I don't think so either..."
Junshin lifted one hand, using it to lightly rub the back of his neck. His gaze settled on a spot in the door frame just beside—
@AudaciousEmilia "Uh-huh..."
Junshin just kept watching as Emilia literally rolled across the floor away from him, standing and watching in amazement as she rolled up the wall and onto the ceiling. As she regarded him from up there, he'd cross his arms and give a soft chuckle.
"I'm not the one—
@SecretCatrina —with Lia flooded his brain.
"Chill out, or you're gonna blow your quirk before we even get star-"
Junshin was cut off as the door opened to show Guadalupe entering the room, causing him to stand quickly.
"Um...it's 𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯. And, it's fine, I haven't been here too—
