Since 1998, a simple belief has fuelled our purpose: every person deserves access to quality health, education & other essential services, no matter where they live.
Our new ‘About Adara’ video is a powerful snapshot of what we do & the impact we’re creating, together.

How stunning is the dedicated maths lab at Adara‑supported Shree Ghyangfedi School in remote #Nepal?
This is part of a multipurpose building that also includes a science lab, computer lab & library. These purpose built spaces make learning more engaging, interactive & inspiring.
Last week, our Deputy Director of Maternal, Newborn & Child Health, Beatrice Niyonshaba, presented at the #MasanawaAfrika#ECD Conference.
Beatrice shared our Hospital to Home & Baby Ubuntu programmes & highlighted the vital link between facility-based & #communitybasedcare.
Colourful walls & even brighter futures. Education is worth smiling about 🤗🦋
We’re proud to support over 2,000 students across 15 Adara‑supported schools in remote #Nepal — with more than half of them girls — bringing #qualityeducation to some of the most #remotecommunities.
Philanthropy can’t fill every gap – but it can make smart choices & help reshape the system.
Watch The Hon. @JuliaGillard AC & Adara’s Founder & Chair @AudetteExel AO in conversation at @WomenDeliver as they explore #philanthropy’s role in today’s shifting global landscape.
“I am not just a mother who worries…I finally, truly, smile.”
Raising her 2-year-old daughter with a #neurodisability alone, Amina’s world was “small, lonely, & silent”.
Through Baby Ubuntu, she found support & community. Now they're thriving.

Take a look at just how remote communities in Humla, #Nepal really are.
High in the #Himalayas, villages sit across steep valleys — among the most isolated communities in the country.
Watch the video for a bird’s‑eye view of Adara’s partner communities in Humla.
Today is #KangarooCareDay!
Kangaroo care – continuous skin-to-skin contact – helps babies, especially those born too soon, thrive. At Adara, we see this impact every day.
Join us in celebrating #kangaroocare - & the parents, clinicians & communities who make it possible 💛
Happy #MothersDay!
We feel deeply privileged to work alongside incredible mothers across the globe.
We’re committed to ensuring every mother gives birth safely, receives #qualityhealthcare & has access to the support they need.
Thank you for helping make this possible 💙
Rising energy costs & supply chain disruption hit remote communities first — including in #Nepal.
At Adara, we’re responding decisively to keep essential health & education services reaching the most isolated communities.
