मिडिल क्लास आबादी का बहुत बड़ा तबका छोटे सिलेंडर पर निर्भर करता है. मगर कहीं सिलेंडर नहीं हैं, और अगर हैं भी तो गैस के दाम कई गुना बढ़कर मिल रहे हैं. बड़ा सिलेंडर 4000–5000 तक का हो गया है, जिसे हासिल करना आम आदमी के बस की बात नहीं है.

ऐसे में सवाल उठता है कि अगर सरकारी दावों के अनुसार देश के पास पर्याप्त गैस सिलेंडर हैं, तो आम आदमी क्यों पिस रहा है...
