The BJP’s mayor of Mumbai, after spending about 2.50 crores on interiors was to spend some more on the exteriors of her residence.

MPs and MLAs get 5cr as development funds for constituencies and the Mayor wanted to splurge more on the bungalow using Mumbai’s tax money.

After our strong opposition to it, she had to withdraw the splurge proposal.

Just as another bit of information, the Mayor’s Bungalow is in a quiet, green vicinity and yet she wanted to install sound barriers of a prominent amount.

भाजपच्या मुंबईच्या महापौर आपल्या निवासस्थानाच्या अंतर्गत सजावटीवर जवळपास २.५० कोटी रुपये खर्च केल्यानंतर, बाह्य सजावटीवर देखील अजून तेवढीच रक्कम खर्च करणार होत्या.

खासदार आणि आमदारांना त्यांच्या मतदारसंघाच्या विकासासाठी ५ कोटी रुपयांचा विकास निधी मिळतो! आणि महापौरांना जवळपास ५.५ कोटींचा निधी, तोही बंगल्यासाठी!

आमच्या तीव्र विरोधामुळे त्यांना हा उधळपट्टीचा प्रस्ताव मागे घ्यावा लागला.

तुमच्या माहितीसाठी आणखी एक गोष्ट सांगतो, महापौरांचा बंगला हा एका शांत, हिरव्यागार परिसरात आहे आणि तरीही त्यांना तिथे मोठ्या रक्कमेचे साऊंड बॅरियर्स बसवायचे होते; लाज नाही वाटत ह्यांना भ्रष्टाचार करताना!

महापौर बंगल्याच्या वाढीव तामझामासाठी काढलेली निविदा अखेर रद्द झाली. युवासेनाप्रमुख, शिवसेना नेते आणि आमदार आदित्य ठाकरे ह्यांनी या निर्णयाविरोधात ठाम भूमिका घेतल्यानंतर प्रशासनाला माघार घ्यावी लागली.
जनतेचा पैसा हा जनतेच्या विकासासाठी खर्च झाला पाहिजे, सत्ताधाऱ्यांच्या ऐषआरामासाठी नाही!

Land grabbed by bjp MLC.

Mumbaikars- for whom we had made this sports complex through the @mybmc a few years ago, suddenly have been deemed “Trespassers” by the BJP MLC run Trust.

Only and only because the bjp wants Mumbai’s open spaces to be grabbed by its friends to be constructed on.

16 acres of Mumbai- to one trust. What does the @CMOMaharashtra owe to the trust/ trustee?

CM stands with the trust, not with Mumbai.

What a shame.

Do you know how I created this chart?

All I did was upload this other one posted by BJP and asked AI to create a similar chart which leads to the opposite conclusion by choosing different data points. The point is to show how easy it is to mislead people with statistics.

By the way, mine still has more credible data for each point with verified sources unlike the BJP one. At least I made other AIs double check all the data :)

16 acres of Mumbai’s open spaces are being handed over to a bjp MLC, 2 of them free and 1 at a paltry sum.

This has to stop, Mumbaikars will step out and protest against this shameful land grab.
