Guys, can you imagine? This place is just 30 km from Ranchi! There’s an awesome government-run hotel nearby that’s incredibly affordable and surprisingly good. You can easily book it through the JTDC website.

The dam offers great boating facilities and water adventure sports. There’s also a lovely restaurant on the island where we got to enjoy authentic homemade-style local food.

But for some reason, the people of Jharkhand seem to be keeping this place a secret. They never invite you saying, “Come on, brother and sister, come explore this place!”

Seriously, this hidden gem deserves a lot more attention.
