@XtReMe1213_TTV@HamManTF@GameStalgiaX I am joking my friend. The other guy said it, I was just following on from what he said as it was totally ridiculous. I believe you are 100% human.
@XtReMe1213_TTV@GameStalgiaX PS VR was a true innovation, I wonβt claim Virtual Boy beat them to it lol! However, Sony did have to use the PlayStation Move controller in the first iteration and we all know that ripped off Wii controllers.
@XtReMe1213_TTV@GameStalgiaX At the end of the day mate, I love Sony and Nintendo. I have all the main consoles for each and beyond.
PS5 is my main place for playing games too. Also I love Sonyβs exclusives, but at the end of the day their tech isnβt usually innovative.
@XtReMe1213_TTV@GameStalgiaX Also technically the Dreamcast had a double-click function on itβs triggers. Pulling them slow or hard would produce to distinct actions.
@XtReMe1213_TTV@GameStalgiaX Nintendo invents and tryβs to make gadgets with a hook. The most innovated Sony got with a controller was the PS3 Boomerang. We all know what happened with that. πͺ
@XtReMe1213_TTV@GameStalgiaX As for the haptic feedback. Technically N64 still did this first with rumble. Then Switch made haptic feedback in the Joy-cons.
PS5 then improved on the tech.
@XtReMe1213_TTV@GameStalgiaX Believe it or not the Famicom had a built in microphone, also plenty of other consoles have used them as attachments. Even the DS had a built in microphone. I will concede that Sony were the first to build a microphone in for voice chat.
@XtReMe1213_TTV@GameStalgiaX The PS home button. Xbox 360 did it first with their silver X home button. Same as they did achievements before trophies (I know you didnβt claim Sony did that first).
@XtReMe1213_TTV@GameStalgiaX OK, so the rumble, itβs hardly innovative. They literally took what Nintendo developed and encased it in a controller first. Sure they did it faster, but the idea wasnβt theirs.
@XtReMe1213_TTV@GameStalgiaX For what itβs worth, I think the DualSense is the best controller of all time ATM. I love the Switch and Switch 2 Pro controllers. But DualSense edges them both.
