Ate Burmese for the first time last night. Very good 5-spice stewed chicken served with soup and fresh fruit / veg. Kind of remote from where I am but hope I make the effort to eat there again. Friendly staff, reasonable prices.

A man, who happened to be Korean, drinking with two buddies, poured a shot, walked over to my table, said "drink", not asking.I think he did it because he saw I wasn't drinking alcohol that night. Was in Phra Khanong about a year ago. Should have refused it.

Ended up buying a bottle of whiskey on the way home and drinking all night. Not really what I had planned.

Enjoying discovering new haunts over the past 5 months or so. The live music on the patio at "Little Italy" can be good, goes well with a few drinks.

At most bars, if you order a lime soda, they serve you a Sprite. At "The Old English", it's a proper mixed drink. So good.

TAOBIN has abolished the extra shot option for coffee drinks. Makes no sense; customers want to give them more money but they don't want to know.
