Our hearts go out today to those impacted by the catastrophic flooding across VT. Thankfully, of our 750 homes, we are aware of only one that was flooded out in Middlebury. The Hollow Brook in Starksboro appears to have stayed in its banks and impacts at our MHCs are minimal.

Homelessness should be rare, brief, and non-recurring. Disheartening to see this dire trend where homelessness in Vermont now lasts five times longer (an extra 6.5 months) compared to before the pandemic.
