STATEMENT ON THE STOP WORK ORDER
At LoveYourself, we want to reassure everyone that our essential services—HIV testing, treatment, and TransHealth—remain unaffected. These services are not reliant on foreign aid, and we remain fully committed to supporting our community without interruption.
However, the STOP WORK order does affect key innovations we’ve worked hard to deliver, including free PrEP, self-testing kits, and campaigns aimed at increasing awareness and scaling up life-saving services. This also impacts many of our staff working on these programs, who are the heart and soul of our innovations.
We want to assure our team and community that we are doing everything we can to ensure our staff are supported during this time. Their dedication to our mission drives us forward, and we remain committed to taking care of them as we navigate these challenges.
We also empathize deeply with the global and local organizations facing similar setbacks. In many countries with high HIV rates, disruptions like these can halt medication procurement and vital services, putting countless lives at risk.
We call on decision-makers to revisit and act quickly on this matter. While we respect processes, the urgency to save lives cannot be overstated. Every delay affects real people, real families, and real futures.
To the Philippine government, this is your moment to step up and partner with civil society organizations. By working together, we can scale up programs, foster innovation, and fill the gaps left by international funding uncertainties.
We also recognize the importance of sustainability in our response, which is why LuxeCare—our social enterprise model—is here to augment services, not only in sexual health but also in wellness, aesthetics, and diagnostics. Through this, we continue to explore new ways to ensure financial sustainability while delivering holistic care to the community.
At LoveYourself, we are more determined than ever to find solutions, care for our community, and move forward with hope and resilience. Together, we will continue to make a difference.

I was 18 when I was diagnosed, the time na senior high transitioning to PT school. Right now, I'm graduating PT student and currently reviewing for PTLE. Still living as an inspiration each day. 🙏🙌✨ #PLHIVDIARIES
Dati, ako lang mag-isa nagreremind sa gamot ko (ARV) .. ngayon, lagi nya pinaalala yung pag-inom ko. And take note, di kami same status.. He's a non-poz.. Darating din talaga yung tamang tao at panahon sa'yo. Tiwala lang.
TYL. 🤍

Hi guys! I’ve been keeping this good news for weeks. I don’t want to announce it unless it’s really final.
Pasampa na ako next month 😊
It’s been a rollercoaster yung journey pero eto na yun!
June 5 is HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day. We have siblings diagnosed with HIV before effective ARVs, and even before the HIV anti-body test was invented. They are still with us today.
If you’ve been diagnosed more recently, consider yourself a long-term survivor in training ❤️
Benefits of taking ARVS as a person living with HIV:
- Suppresses HIV, reducing viral load.
- Lowers risk of transmission to others.
- Improves health and quality of life.
- Extends life expectancy.
- Prevents drug resistance.
- Manages coexisting conditions.
- Peace of mind.
