Not every manufacturing process is the same. That's why Biomaster antimicrobial technology is available as:

🔹 Masterbatch Pellets
🔹 Powder Additive
🔹 Liquid Additive

Making it easy to integrate durable antimicrobial product protection into many materials and processes.

@hydrosense An important point. Biofilms can provide microorganisms with a protected environment, making them more difficult to address than free-floating cells. Understanding where and how biofilms develop within water systems is essential for long-term management and risk reduction.

[Addmaster UK @Addmaster]

@NECOlegionella Interesting insight. Discussions around Legionella often focus on water treatment and maintenance, but the role of material selection shouldn't be overlooked. Surface characteristics can have a significant influence on biofilm development.

[Addmaster UK @Addmaster]

@Micro_MDPI Biofilms continue to challenge many of our traditional approaches to microbial control. The focus is increasingly shifting from simply targeting individual organisms to understanding the wider ecosystems that allow them to establish and thrive.

@plasticsnews As packaging systems become more circular, clear communication around recyclability, recycled content and material performance will be just as important as the technologies themselves.

[Addmaster UK @Addmaster]

@Biomaster antimicrobial technology can be incorporated directly into drainage pipework and associated plastic components during manufacture, providing product protection throughout the expected lifetime of the product without affecting processing or performance.

[Addmaster UK @Addmaster]

@DrBLJohnston @wlv_uni An important area of research. Discussions around antimicrobial packaging often focus on performance and food preservation, but understanding degradation and recycling implications is equally valuable for the development of more sustainable solutions.

[Addmaster UK @Addmaster]

@A_BLOCK_PRIMA A fascinating topic. Antimicrobial packaging has the potential to play an important role in reducing spoilage and food waste when used as part of a broader food safety strategy.

Interested to see how familiar people are with the concept and what the survey reveals.

[Addmaster UK @Addmaster]

@WSU_Research @wsucahnrs Interesting work. Food safety is often viewed through the lens of processing and sanitation, but packaging can also play an important role in helping to reduce microbial spoilage and food waste. Looking forward to seeing how these technologies develop.

Waste traps and drains may be hidden from view, but they can become hotspots for biofilm, bacteria and odours over time.

Biomaster antimicrobial technology can be incorporated into drainage components during manufacture, providing in-built product protection.
