@shadihamid@mattyglesias Gazans have been treated much better than the Germans and WWII was a just war as far as the Allies are concerned. I wonder if Walzer believes the Allies fought an unjust war back then.
@TPrincato@boredape1234 So?
Given the pre-war birth rates of the Jewish communities (15 per 1,000), there should have been at least 16,500 births in Auschwitz.
@boredape1234@TPrincato@ElliotMalin Not really, some 700 children were born in Auschwitz... This implies a much lower birth rate than prior to the war.
@ElliotMalin@JacobALinker@moseshessstan Like, say, there was an armed conflict in Srebrenica but the way the Serb militias acted once they managed to place Srebrenica under their control could only be explained by them having the intent to destroy the Muslim population as such.
@ElliotMalin@JacobALinker@moseshessstan Can either of you elaborate on this? I thought that an armed conflict already doesn't preclude a genocide charge and that the way to show genocidal intent is to find that there is a pattern of conduct during the armed conflict that is only compatible with genocidal intent?
@wwwojtekk Does Gabriel Zucman understand what "publicly confirmed taxpayer migration that has already eliminated nearly 30 percent of the Act's wealth tax base" means?
@AbrigoCD@MahuPablo Por supuesto.
