This guy is single handedly representing Ghana in a sport we don’t even hear about and I’ve seen nary a news outlet give him 2 minutes of coverage. He’s self-sponsored & gives his all but we don’t even appreciate him. I’m gonna start following his every activity. Congrats Trey.
I just went online to check Doris Boaduwaa’s goal record for the Black Queens and whether she’s nearing the all-time record or not. Turns out there’s no available information online about our all time women topscorer. That’s so embarrassing, not even from GFA.
Referee Jesús Valenzuela Martínez has come under heavy criticism in recent matches.
Against Ghana, many fans and pundits argued that Jordan Pickford should have been sent off for denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity, while others believed Ghana should have been awarded a late penalty after Ezri Konsa’s challenge on Prince Kwabena Adu.
His performances in other international matches have also drawn scrutiny, adding to the debate over the standard of officiating at this tournament.
the officiating has really been inconsistent in this world cup. every controversial call has been against african teams but when it's the other way round then referees suddenly shift the goal post on what counts as a foul.
First they came for the Nigerians, and I did not speak out, because I was not Nigerian.
Then they came for the Zimbabweans, and I did not speak out, because I was not Zimbabwean.
Then they came for the Ghanaians, and I did not speak out, because I was not Ghanaian.
Then they came for me, a true South African and there was no one left to speak for me.
Same as Ga builds his confidence.
The same way Messi speaks Spanish and it gets translated for us to understand, so shall Asare speak Ga for it to be translated.
Shalom!
