I'm about to start my fourth year of medical school after getting a Masters of Public Health degree and I honestly feel like a different person. Here are my top five reflections on why you SHOULD get an MPH degree during medical training if you're considering it.
4) The skills training is REAL! Biostatistics, epidemiology, STATA, R, Qualitative data analysis...an MPH is an intense bootcamp for gaining the tools you will need to lead and assist meaningful research. I experienced a statistically significant increase in my stats abilities.
