This day last year, I replied a DM… and little did I know it would be the beginning of something this beautiful.
He has been so selfless with me, in ways I didn’t even know I needed. He chose patience when I was difficult, chose understanding when I was overwhelmed, and chose love even when it wasn’t easy. He didn’t just say he loved me, he learned me. He learned my fears, my triggers, my silence, my laughter… and he loved me through all of it.

He has grown into loving me in my language, in ways that reach my heart deeply. He shows up for me, listens to me, reassures me, and makes me feel safe every single day. And the most beautiful part is how intentional he is about my happiness, how he wakes up every day ready to make me smile, ready to choose me again and again.

My anxiety stricken self would crash out so badly at times, but he met me with patience, reassurance, and consistency. Even if it meant reminding me 100 times a day that he wasn’t going anywhere… he did it.

“You’re my wife,” he always says 🙂‍↔️
