Nigeria’s 4x100m mixed team of Tejiri Godwin, Rosemary Nwankwo, Perfect Faye, and Miracle Ezechukwu clocked a record-setting 41.91 in the heats at the ongoing World U20 Athletics Champs.

Ezechukwu anchored the team from 4th to 2nd with an incredible 10.05 split 🔥

The Nigerian reeled in Germany and almost ran down the USA on the final leg of the mixed 4x100m heats at the World U20 Championships in Eugene.

Team 🇳🇬 Nigeria's quartet, completed by Tejiri Godwin, Rosemary Nwankwo, and Perfect Faye finished 2nd in their heat in 41.91s to qualify for the final.

Ezechukwu split a stunning 10.05 on anchor.

This includes an agreement with West Ham United for use of the London Stadium in September 2029!

Nigeria’s Tejiri Godwin ran 10.34 seconds in the men’s 100m semifinal at the World U20 Championships, improving slightly on his opening-round performance earlier in the day.

Godwin’s campaign ended at the semifinal stage. Still, the experience of racing some of the fastest junior sprinters in the world gave him valuable lessons he can take into the next phase of his career.

Fresh from his 200m Silver medal, Udodi Onwuzuruike came into the anchor leg and brought home the baton in 3rd place for Nigeria.

The Nigerian quartet came through with a Bronze medal, running a Season's Best of 38.12s
