I had started round two of 100DaysOfCode, but got hired as a full stack developer!

With that, all of my focus and energy went to succeeding at my new job. It has been challenging, but I've finally regained some balance.

So, it's time to re-start Round 2!

Wow: finally getting close to finishing R1 after two start-overs :)

Recently realized I don't understand some JS concepts as well as I thought.

Spent time dissecting closures and how/when/where to use .bind() vs .apply() vs .call().

Spent the past 3 days & today building a Python/Django app for an interview challenge. It was really fun and I learned a lot!

Having worked with Ruby/Rails, I can't say either combo one is wholly better than the other. Both have their place!

I spend the time solo & pair coding in ruby, rails, JS, reactJS, python, SQL, and Django for interview prep.

Well, that and rifling through documentation & articles looking up how to do stuff.

I spent most of each of the last four days coding, but I repeatedly lost track of time and fell into the trap of saying "oh, I'll just finish this bit of code before I tweet!"

Spent the past few days going practicing Rails, Node.js, React, & SQL via code challenges & projects to prep for interviews.

Going to spend the coming week improving my knowledge of working with Rails, React, and JS by building a new project.

- Spent the day helping out a few fellow devs debug their code in Rails & JS.

- Hosted a pair programming session.

- Time to jump back into the world of MERN this week.

Phew.

Spent the past week working on forked private repos using Rails & React. It was great and I learned a lot---I even scored over 200 commits... too bad they won't show up on my GitHub, lol.

Been up coding all night... time for a well deserved nap..
