To the young man that helped me to Aladiye yesterday and didn't let rain beat me; when you ask for one, you will get ten thousand. When you need favour, it will come in droves. May the Lord bless you more than I prayed, amen.

Dear @MTNNG , it is with a heart filled with joy I use to inform you that you have until 11:59pm Monday, 31st of August to duly respond to my comprehensive well broken down mail with a duly comprehensive report and review 🤝
I spent three years taking care of my grandmother after her stroke.
Every morning I'd help her get dressed, cook her meals, remind her to take her medication, and sit beside her when the nights were hard. Friends stopped inviting me out because I was "always busy." My savings disappeared, but I kept telling myself that family comes first.
When she passed away, the house became painfully quiet.
What hurt the most wasn't losing the money or the time. It was discovering how quickly everyone moved on. The relatives who hadn't visited in years suddenly showed up for the funeral, argued over her belongings, and left without asking if I was okay.
For weeks, nobody called. Nobody asked how I was coping after being a full-time caregiver for so long.
I realized something important: caregivers spend so much time making sure everyone else survives that they often forget they need someone too.
So if you know someone who is taking care of an elderly parent, a sick partner, or a child with special needs, don't wait until there's a funeral to show up.
Send the text. Make the call. Drop off a meal. Sit with them for an hour.
Sometimes the people who look the strongest are carrying the heaviest weight in silence.
