About a quarter of the global population is estimated to have been infected with TB bacteria. About 5โ10% of people infected with TB will eventually get symptoms and develop TB disease. Join us as we discuss about tuberculosis https://t.co/7I88QFjjt6
๐ Communities are the heart of the TB response
Iโve seen firsthand how the Challenge Facility for Civil Society (CFCS) empowers communities to lead change, amplifying voices, driving advocacy, and ensuring no one is left behind in the fight against TB.
As an AGYW advocate, Iโve seen the power that comes when girls are given equal access to health, education, and opportunities to lead. When we invest in girls, we invest in a brighter, healthier, and more equitable future for all.

HIV criminalization harms the HIV response. Fear of prosecution or punishment can stop people from getting tested or treated. Yet, these laws still exist around the world.

@UNAIDS HIV criminalization can deter individuals from engaging in risky behavior that could transmit HIV.
However, criminalization can have negative consequences, such as
Increased stigma and discrimination,
Decreased testing and disclosure
Inequitable application of laws.
The first day of the meeting, which began yesterday, was an opportunity for CS4ME to present the network, its objectives, and the issues related to the fight against Malaria in Africa.
This three-day meeting is an opportunity to train them to inspire change.
๐ฏ The common goal of this meeting: to offer participants effective advocacy and leadership strategies to address challenges related to the three diseases.
From September 28 to 30, #CS4ME is participating in the launch of the 2025 cohort of the TB Women Academy in ๐ฐ๐ช, initiated as part of the Gender Equality initiative of @GlobalFund with the consortium composed of @CS4MEglobal, @Yplus_Global , and TB Women.
As I look to the future, I am committed to using my voice to raise awareness about the impact of TB on AGYW and to advocate for policies and programs that prioritize our needs and rights.I am proud to be part of a community of ANAYD AGYW who are taking action to end TB.
But I was also inspired by the resilience and determination of the GEF Ambassador who shared her personal stories of living with HIV and the survivor of TB. Her courage in the face of adversity reminded me that we are not just victims of TB but also powerful agents of change.
