@MassiveTom @Iskra1234 @ChimeWhistle Maybe they will order different train type for Hope Valley services.. One thing to consider though, is seating capacity. If they (185s) went to work, say Liverpool to Nottingham etc, would they offer more seating capacity than existing units.

@MassiveTom @Iskra1234 @ChimeWhistle Well, you aren't exactly going to put battery electric units on the Hope Valley /Cleethorpes service, either. No electrification there, or expected to be. So 6 car 185s may survive there. Probably a 5 car may well cover a 6 car Class 185 diagram too.

@trentbartonland @superpie68 Interesting diversion on that bus this morning. Nottingham to around East Midlands Parkway, turned round, back towards Nottingham then towards the airport via Gotham etc. Makes you wonder if the A453 was closed.

@ChimeWhistle A nice continuous loop at Long Marston, recently opened. Old Dalby is just end to end, where you have to keep changing directions. That assumes you can get slots for testing. What is the latest on that test track in South Wales, they planned?
