Parent, do you know the three basic needs all human beings (your child included) have?

Every time a kid is acting out, chances are they're missing out on one of their 3 biggest needs:

Connection (Look at me, mom/dad!)
Competence (I can do this!)
Control (I get to choose this!)

I liked tinkering with Fathom, a tool I was aware of, but I’ve never gotten around to actually testing it.
