Right now, Nigeria has the top stock market of any country on Earth. The Nigerian Stock Exchange is more profitable than even the New York Stock Exchange. Please fact-check me. And according to Bloomberg, the phenomenal explosion in value on the NGX is due to the policies of His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
May God bless President Tinubu. May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
One of the greatest tragedies in life is not failing, but living far below your God-given potential. I have met brilliant people with extraordinary gifts who never became extraordinary because they settled for comfort long before they reached their capacity. The gap between an average life and an exceptional one is rarely determined by intelligence or talent. More often than not, it is determined by the choices we make every single day.
If you observe nature, you will notice that everything strives to become the fullest version of itself. A seed does not struggle with its identity. It simply grows into the tree it was created to become. Rivers continue to flow, birds continue to fly, and the seasons faithfully fulfill their purpose. Human beings, however, have been given something far more powerful, the freedom to choose. We can choose growth or complacency. We can choose discipline or excuses. We can choose to maximize our gifts or spend a lifetime wondering what might have been.
God rarely reveals your full potential at once. Instead, He reveals it as your capacity increases. Every challenge you overcome stretches your thinking. Every book you read expands your perspective. Every mentor you learn from sharpens your judgment. Every risk you take in faith prepares you for greater opportunities.
I often remind entrepreneurs that success is not measured only by the size of your bank account or the number of businesses you own. True success is waking up each day knowing that you are becoming a better leader, a better thinker, a better servant, and a better steward of the opportunities God has placed in your hands. Wealth may change your lifestyle, but personal growth changes your legacy.
Don't spend your life competing with other people. Compete with the person you were yesterday. Refuse to settle for average when excellence is within your reach. Refuse to let fear, comfort, or past failures convince you that you've reached your limit.
The greatest version of your life is not behind you. It is waiting on the other side of your decision to keep growing.
Because your potential is God's gift to you, but maximizing that potential is your gift back to God.

Every time I travel around the world, I return home with one question that refuses to leave my mind. Why should our children have to leave Africa to experience world-class education?
As I walked through the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, I wasn't just admiring beautiful buildings. I was studying a vision.
I saw a university that wasn't built as an isolated institution, but as a thriving ecosystem. Academic excellence blended seamlessly with innovation, business, green spaces, technology, and modern infrastructure. It wasn't just a campus; it was a city designed to produce global leaders.
Then I asked myself a question that every African leader, investor, and policymaker should be asking: When will Nigerian universities look like this?
My answer is simple.
Sooner than many people think, but only if we stop thinking small.
The world's greatest universities did not become exceptional overnight. They became great because someone had the courage to build beyond the needs of today and prepare for the possibilities of tomorrow.
But it won't happen by chance.
It will happen because entrepreneurs choose to build with purpose. Because investors choose long-term value over short-term profits. Because government creates enabling policies. I have dedicated a significant part of my life's work to changing that reality.
The future belongs to those who build it before everyone else believes it is possible.
And I believe Africa's finest campuses, smartest cities, and greatest institutions are still ahead of us.
The question is not whether it can happen.
The question is: Who will have the courage to build it?

This message really spoke to me.
Imagine being told to leave the very place where you’ve been worshipping. A deadline is hanging over your head, opposition is everywhere, and it looks like everything is falling apart.
Most people would panic.
But instead of seeing it as the end, they trusted God.
The result? What looked like a setback became the reason they owned a far bigger property.
That part hit me deeply because I’ve seen this pattern in my own life. Sometimes, when the pressure is at its highest, God is doing His greatest work behind the scenes.
The enemy wants you to focus on the deadline. God wants you to focus on the destination.
If you’re going through a difficult season in your business, career, ministry, or family, don’t lose your faith. What feels like a closed door today may be God’s way of leading you to something far bigger tomorrow.
Keep believing. Keep showing up. God is not finished with your story.

In farming communities, you don't have to break the bank to protect yourself from mosquitoes.

Throwback Thursday. 21 years ago today (in 2005) then Governor of Lagos State, @officialABAT, chaired the Sir Michael Otedola Scholarship Scheme Award Ceremony. Today His Excellency now serves as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In the ceremony I donated N200,000,000 (two hundred million naira only) to the scholarship scheme founded by my late father in 1987, continuing our family’s commitment to investing in the education.
True wealth is not measured by what we keep, but by the lives we change 🕊️ … F.Ote💲

“I gave Jatto employment just last year. Three days ago, he facilitated employment for his friend with an airline in the aviation sector.
As his friend was appreciating him, Jatto told him, ‘You should thank Almighty God and Senator Buhari AbdulFatai Ph.D, who gave me a job.’
When I heard that, it became one of the happiest days of my life. There is no greater joy than seeing someone you once helped become a blessing to someone else.”
- Sen. Buhari AbdulFatai Omotayo
I have received a lot of advice from people who say that, as a businessman, I should keep my faith private and not publicly display my worship.
Many years ago, an Alhaji told me a story about how Dangote had over 1,000 Alfas who prayed around the clock in shifts for his business. That was when I truly learned the power of raising an altar of prayer.
Everyone is using something in this life. If you don’t stand on something, people may try to use you for something.
I have escaped many traps of the enemy. Many. And I have no shame in publicly showing where my faith lies. I do not mix God with anything else.
In the middle of business challenges, someone once suggested that I should give money for some rituals to be done. I said to the person, “But you know where my faith lies.”
It is not enough to have faith privately. Sometimes, it is important to make it public.
“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”
Daniel 6:10 KJV
I often say it again and again, I fear no man but God, because I have already bowed to God, and Him alone will I serve for the rest of my days. Stop being ashamed of Identifying with God.
Him alone is worthy of worship .

"I am a big proponent of the informal economy. It's a $1 trillion opportunity. That is women in the street that sell milk, bread, coke, water. They don't have a bank account but its a $1 trillion opportunity. Enable the informal economy and you will be a billionaire." - Adesuwa Rhodes, Founder, Aruwa Capital Management
Today, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo stood on the same Mountain of Mercy altar where God used Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola to birth a revival that is still speaking to generations.
The covenant is still speaking. The God of answers is still changing lives.

@DeeOneAyekooto Even the road to his house within Otukpo is in deplorable state talkless of Makurdi to Otukpo.
I always wonder why that man is still relevant in Benue State Politics . Thank God for PBAT that relegated him at national levels though,
Today, June 26, 2026, would have marked my 20th year in banking. Perhaps I would have been a Branch Manager or still at the headquarters in Marina as a Brand Manager. But my employment came to an end on January 6, 2020.
Looking back today, I am deeply grateful for everything I learned during my banking career, and indeed from every place I have worked. Some environments were supportive, others were challenging, but each one taught me lessons that shaped who I am.
If you are currently employed, always keep one eye on your exit date. It will surely come - whether unexpectedly, through redundancy, resignation, or retirement. The question is: Will you be ready?
Start preparing today. Learn a new skill. Learn several skills. Go back to school if necessary. Learn a trade. Invest in your personal development now, not later.
Have a clear plan. A definite chief aim. Decide who you want to become. Think about it. Speak it. Write it down. Declare it if you must. Surround yourself with like-minded colleagues, friends, or your spouse who will encourage your growth and keep you accountable.
Many people remain in 9-to-5 jobs, not because they lack potential, but because fear keeps them there. Yet your job can provide the financial stability to experiment, take calculated risks, and build something on the side. Your weekends, days off, and evenings are valuable opportunities, don't waste them.
Wake up the talent within you. Too many gifted artists, bakers, writers, photographers, designers, and creators have buried their gifts because of the temporary comfort that a monthly salary provides.
Don't be deceived. The comfort you enjoy today may be temporary because you do not own the company. Not everyone is called to be an entrepreneur, but everyone should strive to become an investor and build assets beyond their salary.
While I worked in the bank, my working hours were often from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. But when I got home, I wore different hats. I became an artist. I painted. I made yoghurt. I baked. I made shoes. I developed many other skills over the years.
So when it was finally time to leave the bank, the transition was not frightening - it was natural. I wasn't starting from scratch; I had been building my future all along.
Your salary pays today's bills, but your skills can secure tomorrow's freedom. Start building that future today.
Good morning to you. 😊🫂🫂

Happened in a Nigerian bank.
A security man walked up to the Bank Manager and boldly told him that he is a graduate and would love to participate in the Aptitude test for the vacant position.
The Boss allowed him to write the test. He was the ' Best Candidate' and got the job.
The pic shows him on
Friday: last day as a security man and
Monday: first day as a Banker.
I consider this the post of the Month'.
What's your take?
