@Real_Blurrd Hi, I'm currently a graduate and video editor and programmer and my laptop is very vital to me it's also old and underperforming so I would really appreciate a good one ๐
@technicallybee@317tbriggs@omidan_Ifemint That's the whole point thank you, it's not that the design has any specific bias. It's optimized for both men and women although women are more vulnerable for anatomical reasons
@nmneweil Standards have changed to support both, I'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful I'm just making a point she makes a valid argument but she's putting it in a certain way that's what I'm addressing
@nmneweil Okay then bro as you suggest let's use our own reasoning in the matter then shall we?, the historical bias did exist that is the truth but this was due to a lot more men driving as compared to women but safety standards have evolved and the optimization has panned out.
@omidan_Ifemint Okay let me put my point across, yes historical biases did exist 50- 70 years ago but you still have to consider that more men owned and drove cars at that time. But now the case is different with more women being licensed drivers, car designs have changed since then
@djoispunk@omidan_Ifemint Okay let me analyse this for you she said it was optimized for the male body ya, and although those historical problems did exist 50-70 years ago but that was due to a much higher percentage of male drivers as compared to female drivers at the time. But now times are different.
