#NEW: QC/KC NO MORE: Barbados formally discontinues the usage of Queen’s Counsel (QC)/King’s Counsel (KC) for attorneys admitted to the Inner Bar.

These persons will now be called Senior Counsel (SC)

The change is due to the fact that as Barbados is a republic, the nation no longer recognises the British monarch as its Head of State
